"Excelsior" is an 8x10 print mounted on an 11x14 mat of an original canvas painting by Annie.  It is her first attempt at painting a ship and will take you back to the early days of shipping from Somerset.
"Excelsior" was one of Capt. Daniel Brayton Eddy's ships back in the 1840s that sailed from the Taunton River in Somerset, MA.   Capt. Eddy also built "The Poplars" which is a house on Main St. in Somerset Village where Annie grew up.  The Poplars is also a painting in Annie's collection.
Matted prints are ready for framing and a great alternative for smaller spaces or if you just don't have the budget for an original canvas.
