"Excelsior" is Annie's latest 16"x20" canvas painting and her first attempt at painting a ship.
"Excelsior" was one of Capt. Daniel Brayton Eddy's ships back in the 1840s that sailed from the Taunton River in Somerset, MA.   Capt. Eddy also built "The Poplars" which is a house on Main St. in Somerset Village where Annie grew up.  The Poplars is also a painting in Annie's collection.
