"My Secret Garden" is an 11"x14" abstract painting with acrylic paint on  Canvas Board.  The title comes from an early 1900's children's novel about an orphaned girl, Mary Lennox, who discovers a neglected, walled garden at her uncle's manor, bringing it back to life with the help of a boy named Dickon and her sickly cousin Colin, leading to healing and renewal for them all.  The book is a story of nature's restorative power, friendship, and transformation.  The book, as with many of Annie's paintings feature the beauty of nature.
