Last Pop-up this Sunday

As director of Procrastinators Anonymous, I have re-scheduled this week's meeting to next week. Have you been procrastinating?

Are you still looking for a special gift with special meaning? Something from our Love This Beach Collection could be the perfect solution.

Our last pop-up event will be at Auclair's Market this Sunday. Who's coming to visit? If you are unable to come see us on Sunday, be sure to call us at 774-488-9844 to see if Annie will still have time to make your special order. She still has 2 orders to complete and they are made in the order they are received. I will be making local (within 10 miles of Somerset) deliveries right up to Christmas Eve.

They have been on the back burner for several months, but we'll be getting back to work on getting our books published. I am working on a coffee table book of my (in)famous daily signs to be titled "What the Frank ?" and Annie will be working on her book of poems (title to be determined).

Annie's poem this week is a memory of this season at Sacred Hearts Academy, her alma mater.

The SHA Christmas Play

Every year we marched up the leaf-strewn street

to the high school auditorium.

We were armed with assignments and roles to play

a dancing bear with a jaunty red bow,

a weatherman in an oiled yellow slicker,

a lollipop seller with a loaded tray.

I always hoped for a coveted spot

in the still-life Nativity,

the annual curtain closer.

But, it just wasn't meant to be.

So I happily caroled from one chorus to the next,

soaking up the spirit of the season.

And when we reached that final frost-filled night

when it all came together,

I knew we were shining as brightly

as the star-splattered sky.

And my parents always clapped the loudest.

That's it for this week. Stay safe and shop small, shop local and shop online (but only small biz).
