Only one more day til you find out if you've been naughty or nice. You might THINK you've been nice but it's really up to the chubby guy in the red suit and white beard. Good luck.
We had our last pop-up event at Auclair's Market last Sunday and We want to thank Dottie and Dennis Auclair and Amy and the rest of the staff at Auclair's for hosting us 3 times this year. We also want to thank Bill and Diana Botelho and their incredible staff at The Cheese Wheel Village Market in Tiverton for hosting us 4 times this year. We also participated in 12 SOAM events, thank you Allison and staff. We also did 2 craft shows so we kept pretty busy. Ain't retirement great?
One last story about FEDEX (Frank's Excellent Delivery Experience). I got a call yesterday morning from a former customer of the boutique who had received a gift of a Christmas Tree ornament from our Love This Beach Collection. She had a special person who she thought would like one too. Being a Somerset townie, I delivered her ornaments within a half hour of her call. It was my 58th delivery of the year. Beat that time Amazon. Thank you Nancy.
I'll be getting back to work on "What the Frank?" and Annie's book of poetry next week. The next few months are typically pretty slow so I'll have plenty of time to work on them and, hopefully, get them published soon.
Annie's poem this week is in honor of the recent Winter Solstice.
Winter Solstice 2021
Silver snow,
Silver sky,
Silver settling on the river
This is my holiest time of the year,
And when the darkness does descend
ending this shortest of days
All of God's creatures
will sigh and softly sleep
as silver stars timelessly turn the wheel
That's it for this week. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Stay safe and shop small, shop local and shop online (but only small biz).
